- Bulk scanning is the most cost-effective model of digitizing large format documents. Plans are grouped together and scanned as a multi-page PDF with a unique name and suggest treating the file with OCR (Optical Character Recognition) capabilities enabling the user to key word search the PDF.
- Naming Convention (indexing) is the process of naming each individual file as a single page PDF / TIF / JPEG which is labor intensive but allows the user to locate a specific file quickly.
